Adliv syrup contains herbal extracts of Andrographis Paniculata , Picrorrhiza Kurroa , Eclipta Alba, Phyllanthus Niruri, Tephrosia Purpurea and Trikatu. It is used as a remedy in viral Hepatitis, drug induced or alcoholic hepatitis, hepatotoxicity due to anti-tubercular and anti-malarial drugs and all conditions of compromised liver and gall bladder functions. The dosage for adults is 2 teaspoonful twice a day, for children below 6 years the correct dosage is 1 teaspoonful daily while for children between 6-12 years the dosage is 1 teaspoonful twice daily.
