Remember to finish the full course of treatment even if you feel better. It is important that this medication is not stopped suddenly without talking to the doctor. The most common side effects of this medicine include nausea, stomach pain, headache, nasal congestion, sinus pain, sinus inflammation, rash, tiredness, and musculoskeletal (bone, muscle or joint) pain. It may also cause diarrhea, so it is better to take plenty of fluids while taking this medicine as it may help to prevent dehydration.
